Wherever used, the term “product” shall refer to any materials/item(s) offered for sale on our website. All section headings in the Agreement are for convenience only and shall not affect the Agreement’s interpretation.
The website is only made available to you if you are at least 18 years of age or the minimum age of majority, whichever is greater, in your state, province or country of residence. Please do not access the website and/or place any orders if you do not meet the age eligibility criteria.
The Company reserves the right to restrict your access to the website if you do not comply with any provision of this Agreement or where we have reason to believe that you are not complying.
We reserve the right to update these Terms to comply with any applicable laws/regulations, to reflect any changes in our business practices, or for any other reasons we deem fit in our sole discretion. Unless expressly specified otherwise, the updated Terms shall be effective from the date the updated version is posted on the website. You are required to sign-up for a user account to place any orders through the website. All user accounts are provided by us at our sole discretion. We may decline to provide a user account to any user without providing any reason for our decision.
User Account Security
As a user account holder, you agree to keep your account username and password confidential. You shall be solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your user account. In the event of any security breach or suspicious activity, you must immediately notify us at contact@curtaing.co.nz. You hereby release us from any liability, costs, damages, claim, or action arising out of or associated with any unauthorised access to your user account.
Your Personal Data
When you place an order on our website or sign-up for a user account, we collect some personal information from you, including but not limited to your full name, email address, phone number, shipping, and billing address (“your data”). Any act of providing incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate personal information shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement.
We process all your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. We advise you to carefully review our Privacy Policy before accessing our website and only use our website if you agree with our privacy practices.
It is solely your responsibility to notify us of any change in your data. By continuing to use our website, you represent and warrant that all your data is true, accurate, complete, and current.

5.1. Our Products
5.1.1. All product images available on the website are for illustrative purposes only. We cannot guarantee that the product colours as displayed on your device are an accurate depiction of the real product colour. We do not accept any returns or offer any refunds due to slight variations in the product's colour.
5.1.2. We offer our users up to five free fabric samples and all additional samples at $1 each. As all orders are made to your specifications, we invite you to use this free sample service to ensure you know the true colour and texture of the fabric before placing your order. To request a sample, simply select the fabric you like and click the “Add to Order” button to save your favourites; when you are ready to order, visit the order page and click “Sample” to place your sample order. All samples are delivered in about 2-3 business days within New Zealand (delivery time may vary in other jurisdictions).
5.1.3. All products are made to your order specifications. Please carefully review all your order details, including shipping details and measurements, before submitting your order. We will not be responsible for any errors you make in measurements leading to the product being unsuitable for your requirements. Please refer to the “How to Measure” section on our website to learn more. For the avoidance of any doubt, all measurements specified on the website are in millimetres (“mm”), and the measurements that you supply to the Company must also be in mm.
5.1.4. Roller Blinds
When you order roller blinds, the fabric will be approximately 30mm less than the width provided by you, and a subtle gap around the edges of the window will be visible.
5.1.5. Eyelet Style
For eyelet style curtains, the stacking is only available as centre opening when the width is more than 2000mm. When you order double eyelet curtains, the sheer will be in pleated style, and only the curtain will be in eyelet style. Furthermore, in double eyelet curtains, the curtain itself will be 70mm longer than the sheer to ensure that their bottom hems are even.
5.1.6. S-Fold Tracks
Please note that S-Fold tracks are exclusively designed for use with S-Fold curtains or sheers and cannot be interchanged with other tracks.
5.1.7. Custom Tracks
Custom tracks over 2700mm wide may require assembly due to shipping restrictions. Please note that screws and tools are not included in your order with custom track and rods.
5.1.8. Product Care
You will receive your product care and cleaning instructions with your order. If you have any questions on how to care for and clean the product, please contact us through the contact form on our website.
5.1.9. Product Warranty
All products are covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Please note that the warranty only covers faults that arise during normal and intended use of the product. Any accidental or intentional damage to the product is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty also does not cover any mistreatment of blinds. For the avoidance of any doubt, mistreatment of blinds includes:
a. Any changes made to the blinds including but not limited to changing the mechanism, cutting cords, incorrect installation, resizing, painting or staining the blinds;
b. Installing the products outdoors;
c. Any water damage to the blinds; or
d. Any damage caused by children or pets.
To claim a warranty, please contact us at contact@curtaing.co.nz. Please note that you may be required to provide us with photographic evidence of the fault at the time you submit your warranty claim. We will then investigate your request and advise you on the steps to get a repair/replacement.
5.1.10. If you are in doubt and require any assistance or guidance, please contact us before placing your order, and one of our customer support team will assist you with your query.
5.2. Order Placement and Acceptance
5.2.1. All products displayed on the website are subject to availability. You understand and accept that the manufacturer may discontinue some products, and such products may be removed from our website.
5.2.2. To place your order, start by selecting the material you like and use the “Add to order” button. When you are ready to customise the product, go to the “Order” page and provide the measurements and other specifications requested. Please ensure that all measurements, materials and other specifications are correct before proceeding to make the payment and providing your shipping address. You understand that by submitting your order along with your payment information, you are authorising us to process your order and charge your payment method for the full order amount.
5.2.3. Please note that you will receive an order confirmation email after your payment method is successfully billed for the full order amount. Your order confirmation email is also your original invoice, and you are advised to keep it safe for your own records. In the event you claim the manufacturer’s warranty on any product, you may be asked to provide us with your original invoice. If you do not receive your order confirmation email within 24 hours from the time you placed your order, please contact the Company through the contact form on our website.
5.2.4. Please note that there may be occasions when we are not be able to accept your order for reasons, including:
a. If the ordered product is unavailable;
b. There being any pricing or product description errors on our website at the time you placed your order;
c. If we are unable to bill your payment method for your order;
d. If we do not offer products in your location or if the carrier does not service your area.
In the event we are unable to accept your order, we will contact you to inform you that your order could not be accepted.
5.2.5. Your order will include all components such as brackets with your blinds; however, you are required to acquire screws or wall plugs, depending on your unique installation requirements.
5.3. Pricing and Payments
5.3.1. All prices specified on our website and this Agreement are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
5.3.2. Although we take care to ensure that all product prices on the website are correct and current, pricing errors are possible. In the event of any errors in the pricing of a product you ordered, we will contact you, and you will have the option to either confirm your order at the correct price or cancel your order. We do not have any legal obligation to accept orders at a lower price due to any errors in pricing on our website.
5.3.3. We reserve the right to change our product pricing or withdraw any offers from our website without giving any prior notice to you. Offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions that are not contained in this Agreement. Please review the relevant offer terms and conditions when buying a product on offer.
5.3.4. As displayed on our website, product prices do not include shipping fees. Please refer to our website FAQ to learn more about the shipping costs to your location.
5.3.5. We currently accept online payments through VISA, Mastercard and Paypal. Your payment method will be charged for the full order amount (inclusive of GST) plus applicable shipping fees at the time you place your order. By providing us with your payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the right to use the provided payment method to make the purchase.
5.3.6. All our products are shipped from New Zealand, and deliveries to some jurisdictions may attract import duties. You shall be solely responsible for the payment of any such import duties applicable to your order. We advise you to contact your local customs authority to obtain all relevant information before placing your order.
5.3.7. Please note that we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery resulting from any payment authorisation refusal by your payment card issuer.
5.4. Shipping Policy
5.4.1. All orders will be shipped to the shipping address provided by you at the time you submit your order. It is solely your responsibility to carefully review your shipping address before submitting your order. We will not accept any responsibility for deliveries made to incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by you. If your address is in a remote area, please provide any details that may help the carrier to deliver to your address.
5.4.2. Shipping Service Providers and Delivery Time
We make use of third party shipping service providers to deliver all our orders. Our estimated delivery period for orders is between four to six weeks from the date of your order. Please note that although we will make our best effort to ensure that your order is delivered to you within the estimated time-frame, the ongoing pandemic can still cause unforeseen delays.
5.4.3. Bounced Deliveries
Please note that the Company does not bear the cost of redelivering the order in case of bounced deliveries. We will also not be held liable for any loss incurred by you as a result of the parcel being left unattended in cases where you provided us with an unsafe shipping address. Please only provide the Company with a secure shipping address where you or a person authorised by you can receive the delivery of your order.
5.4.4. Shipping Fees and Taxes
Shipping is free for orders over $699 for specified locations (please see our FAQ). For all orders of less than $699, we will charge a minimal amount of shipping fee, which may vary depending on products and location.
We will display all applicable shipping fees for your order on the checkout page. You will be solely responsible for the payment of all shipping fees on your order. Please carefully review all amounts before confirming your order.
5.4.5. Tracking Orders
Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you email notifications on the status of your delivery. All notifications will be sent to the email address provided by you during your user account registration on the website.
5.5. Order Cancellations, Changes and Returns
5.5.1. Order Cancellations and Changes
As the product is made to your specification, all orders are final and we are unable to accept any changes or cancellations after you submit your order.
5.5.2. Damaged Product
If your order was damaged at the time of delivery, please contact the Company immediately with images and a description of the damage. We will contact you to arrange for free repairs or replacement of the damaged product. Please note that we may request you to return the product back to us in order to arrange for product repairs. In such cases, we will cover the return shipping fees and re-delivery of the product to you.
5.5.3. Incorrect Product
Although our products are made to your specifications, in the unlikely event you received a product that was not the size you ordered or to your specifications, please immediately contact us. If the error was on our part, we would gladly replace the incorrect product at no charge to you. Please note that an incorrect product does not include any product that you measured incorrectly.
5.5.4. Returns Policy
Except in case of damaged or incorrect products (section 5.5.2 and 5.5.3), we do not accept returns of orders. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your order, we will make our best effort to help resolve any issues.
6.1. Termination by the user
You may terminate your user account at any time by accessing the account settings or by contacting us through the contact form on our website with the words ‘account termination’ in the subject line.
6.2. Termination by the Company
We reserve the right to terminate your user account at any time without giving prior notice to you if we find that:
a. You are in breach of this Agreement;
b. You have violated any applicable laws; or
c. Your conduct is harmful to us or any of our users.
You shall not:
7.1. Use the website or any content made available through the website for any illegal or unlawful purposes;
7.2. Post any content on the website that may be potentially or actually harmful to the Company or any user;
